TEREBRATULIDOS DEVONICOS DE ARGENTINA - 1. CRANAENA y SCAPHIOCOELIA
Abstract
The terebratuloids we present in this paper, are mentioned for the first time in Argentina. New internal characteristics are described for the first time in Scaphiocoelia bolivzensis Whit. and Cranaena nov. sp. They were collected from the Talacasto Formation (San Juan) assigned with no doubts to the Lower Devonian. The presence of Scapbiocoelia shows for the first time a correlation betwccn Devonian brachiopods of Bolivia and the Argentine Precordillera.Downloads
