Abstract

The author redescríbes the holotype of Myophoria neuquensis Groeber, from the middle Lías of Neuquen and Chubut (Argentina). Some morphologícal characters pre- viously not known, are added to the diagnosis, and also the sistematic position is revíewed. Is is included to Myophorigonia Cox, 1952, and are consídered theír relation with the species of Muophorigonia from the Upper Triassic of Peru, New Zealand and the North Pacífíc Province.
