"Ostrácodos de un testigo del Banco Burdwood, Océano Atlántico sudoccidental austral"
Abstract
"The ostracod fauna was studied frorn a shallow core on the Burdwood Bank, southwestern Atlantic Ocean. The age of the core is Late Pliocene and the ostracods are all shelf dwellers, whose modern distribution extends from the Antarctic northwards to the pravince of Buenos Aires, although Antarctic forms predomina te. This suggests a considerable influence of Antarctic waters during the deposition of the core which may be related to changes in the position of the polar front during the Late Pliocene."Downloads
