Abstract
Spores referred to the Iiverworts (Hepatophyta) and hornworts (Anthoceratophyta) are described. They belong to the genera Naiaditaspora, Coptospora, Staplinisporites, Foraminisporis, Stoverisporites and Chomotriletes. The genera Naiaditaspora, Staplinisporites and Coptospora are included in Hepatophyta; Stoverisporites, Foraminisporis and Spore A in Anthoceratophyta; Chomotriletes and Spore B in Incertae Sedis. Their variety suggests that the Bryophyta were abundant and diversified in Patagonia during the Early Cretaceous.Downloads
