LA FLORA TRIASICA DEL GRUPO EL TRANQUILO, PROVINCIA DE SANTA CRUZ (PATAGONIA). PARTE II. FILICOPSIDA
Abstract
In this second part of the series devoted to this flora, a list of the ferns found in the El Tranquilo Group is presented. Several had already been described in the previous literature but a new Marattialean genus and species, Tranquilia jalfinii and a new species of Todites, T. baldonii, are described. Gleichenites is mentioned here for the first time. The Marattiales with 4 genera and 7 species (41 %) and the Osmundales with 3 genera and 8 species (47%) constitute the main bulk of the fern flora of El Tranquilo.Downloads
