NUEVA DESCRIPCION DE PSARONIUS ARROJADOI (PELOURDE) (MARATTIALES), DEL PERMICO DE BRASIL
Abstract
An enmended diagnosis and a thourough re-description with anatomical and histological details of the stem and roots of Psaronius arrojadoi (Pelourde) are given. TP,e origin and formation of the leaf-traces and emission of the petioles are also described. Finally, the possibility of P. arrojadoi to be apical part (upper stem) of the plant whose basal part (lower stem) is known as P. brasiliensis is presented and arguments in favour of this idea are discussed.Downloads
