Abstract

The presente paper is based on the study of numerous specimens from different localities. The revision of the holotype of Diplothmema bodenbenderi Kurtz nov. combohas shown that Charnelia dichotoma Frenguelli is a synonyrn.The knowledge of more a complete fronds allows an enlargment of the original description; also, a reconstructionis given. The stratigraphic range and geographic distribution of Diplothmema bodenbenderi are discussed.
