OSTRACODOS PLEISTOCENICOS DEL ARROYO PERUCHO VERNA, PROVINCIA DE ENTRE RIOS, ARGENTINA
Abstract
Nine genera of ostracods from Upper Pleistocene-Holocene sediments are described and illustrated. The ostracods are mainly fresh-water dwellers but two species are adapted to brackish conditions. It is concluded that they inhabited a fresh-water body, with slow currents and abundant aquatic vegetation; the botton was sandy and silty.Downloads
