Abstract
CREATACEOUS STRATIGRAPHIC PALYNOLOGY OF SOUTHERN ARGENTINA. II. SYSTEMATIC DESCRIPTIONS. - This second part is devoted entirely to the description of several species that have be en found in the same wells that were studied in the previous report. Thirty five species are discussed, the following being new: Interulobites pseudoreticulatus, I. distannulatus, Foraminisporis microgranulatus, F. variornatus, Polycingulatisporites trabeculatus, Cyclusphaera crassa, C. potagonica and C. (?) radiata. A new combination is also proposed: Klukisporites tuberosus (Döríng). Nine forms of Cicatricosisporites have been recognized, together with some other species of Schizaeaceous spores. Several known species that have been described in Argentina are excluded from this paper, although they will be used in the final part of the series.Downloads
