Abstract

Stromatolitic structures of the LLH-C type are described. The fossil-bearing bed is related to the Mesozoic sequence of the Argentine Precordillera. The paleoenvironmental reconstruction based on these biogenic structures suggests that they were related to an ephemeral standing water body in an unstable basin
