Abstract
Few Sphenopteris frcnds have been descri?bed by previous authors, from the Lower Cretaceous Baquero? Formation. The present author has collected in different occasions many fragrr:ents of such frond which are ncw described-jMost of the species are probably true ferns, but one (Sphenopteris thoriana n. sp.))s probably related to the genus Rujlorinia (a Cymncsperrn ). Three species are new: S"p!!enopteris baqueroensis, S. sueroi and S. thoriana; the other taxa, have been menticned before: Sphenopteris cf. fittoni Seward, S. d. nordenskioldii Halle and S. psilotoides (Stokes and Webb) Ward.Downloads
