Abstract

Gleichenites iuliimsis n. sp. from the Middle Jurassic of Santa Cruz, Patagonia. The author describes Gleichenites juliensis n. sp. from the Middle Jurassic Matildean beds of the Gran Bajode San Julian; Patagonia, placing it in the subgenus Diplopterygium. Additionally, a brief discussion is presented concerning Gleichenites cf. micromerus (Heer) described by Halle from the Upper Jurassic-Lower Cretacic Lago San Martin beds also of Patagonia.
