Abstract

"Un nuevo y muy pequeño género de ostrácodo Skopaeocythere, de la familia Limnocytheridae, se registra en depósitos salobres f1uvio-lacustres miocénicos de la cuenca Arnazónica superior. Nuestro conocimiento del género está basado sobre una única especie nueva, Skopaeocuthcre tet rakanthos sp. nov. Se consideran además las relaciones entre el nuevo taxón y otros géneros de limnocythéridos. "
