Abstract
"In the present paper the anatomical study of fossil woods frorn the Melo Formation allows to elaborate palaeoclimatic, palaeoecologic, systematic and palaeophytogeographic considerations. Xylological studies ha ve allowed to relation Melo Formation asociation with diaphragm - solenoid biozone originally defined from Brazil.
