Abstract
Leiagnostus (Trilobita, Agnostida) is an uppermost Cambrian-Lower Ordovician genus known in Argentina through scarce material. In this note Leiagnostus ceibalitensis n. sp. is described from the Floresta Formation(upper Tremadocian). The material was collected in the quebrada de Pingiliyal, southem section of sierra de Mojotoro, SaltaProvince. It is regarded as conspecific with material from that locality previously assigned to Leiagnostus turgidulus Harrington and Leanza.Downloads
