Abstract
A diversified graptolite fauna from the Sierra de La Invernada Formation in the western tectofacies of the Precordillera of San Juan are analysed. The association belongs to the Paraglossograptus tentaculatus Biozone. The assemblage suggests an Upper Arenigian-Lower Llanvirnian age (Dal-Da3 of the Australian sequence). The graptolites discussed in this contribution are the following: lsograptus victoriae divergens Harris, I. caduceus caduceus (Salter), 1. horridus Harris, Crypiograptus antennarius (Hall), Pseudotrigonograptus ensiformis (Hall) and Xiphograptus svalbardensis (Archer y Fortey).Downloads
