Abstract

Brachiopods from Late Carboniferous rocks of Chubut province are described. The studied material carne from Las Salinas Formation. The following species are recognized: Alispirifer transversus Maxwell and Neospirifer? sp. They belong to the Levipustula Zone of Namurian -Westphalian age.
