Abstract

Systematic descriptions of 18 gymnosperm and angiosperm pollen species from the late Oligocene?-Miocene Chenque Formation, Golfo San Jorge basin are presented in this second contribution. New cornbinations of Equisetosporites claricristatus (Shakmundes) Barreda combo nov. and Equiserosporites lusaticus (Krutzch) Barreda combo nov. are proposed. The following species are reporred for the first time frorn Argentina: lnaperturopollenites hiatus (Potonié) Thornson and Pflug, Equisetosporites claricristatus (Shakrnundes) Barreda, Equisetosporites lusaticus (Krutzsch) Barreda, Arecipites subverrucatus (Pocknall) Mildenhall and Pocknall and Tricolpites trioblatus Mildenhall and Pocknall.
