SOBRE LAS VICISITUDES DE LOS GÉNEROS BOTHRIOMYS AMEGHINO, 1889, EUNEOMYS COUES, 1874 y GRAOMYS THOMAS, 1916 (MAMMALIA, RODENTIA, CRICETIDAE)
Abstract
After a new study of the original remains, the systematic status of Bothriomys catenatus Amegh., 1889, B. spegazzinii Amegh. (in schedis ) and Oximycterus impexus Amegh., 1889, are clarified. B. catenatus (synonymized, at the generic level, with Euenomys by Hershkovitz, 1962) and O. impexus are conspecific with Graornys griseofla VS Thornas, 1916, while B. spegazzinii is refered to Reithrodon auruus (Fischer, 1814). Some nomenclaturaI and paleogeographical implications of these conclusions are remarked.Downloads
