Abstract

The new species Triphyllopteris cuyana es here decribed, and included in Argentina's carboniferous palaeofloristic associations. The finding of Iarge and well preserved impressions from the Jejenes Formation, Upper Carboniferous of San Juan province, aIlows to establish a new taxon and confront it with the most similar genera and species.
