CONODONTES CARADOCIANOS EN LAS CALIZAS ALOCTONAS DEL MIEMBRO SUPERIOR DE LA FORMACION EMPOZADA (ORDOVICICO MEDIO y SUPERIOR), SAN ISIDRO (MENDOZA, ARGENTINA)
Abstract
This conodont fauna shows two associations: Oepikodus evoe, wideJy distributed in Precordillera; and Amorphognathus superbus not yet described in Argentina. From the Amorphognathus superbus association the Iollowing genera and species were identified: Amorphognathus superbus (Rhodes, 1953); Aphelognathus rhodesi (Lindstrom, 1959); Drepanoistodus suberectus (Branson y Mehl, 1933b); Icriodella superba Rhodes, 1953; Plectodina sp. cf. P. tenuis (Branson y Mehl, 1933c); Plectodina sp.; Protopanderous liripipus Kennedy, Bames y Uyeno, 1979; Pseudooneotodus sp.; Rhodesognathus elegans (Rhodes, 1953) y ?Stollferello sp. In the present paper these conodonts are described and illustrated.Downloads
