NANOFOSILES PALEOCENOS DEL NORESTE DE LA CUENCA NEUQUINA. REPUBLICA ARGENTINA
Abstract
"A calcareous nannoplankton association is described in this paper. It has been recovered from marine sediments of Jaguel and Roca Formations, from Sierras Blancas outcrop, Neuquen Basin. The association is assigned to the Paleocene age. The studied species are: Braarudosphaera bigelowi (Gran y Braarud) Deflandre; Cruciplacolithus tenuis (Stradner) hay y Mohler; Hornibrookina teuriensis Edwards; Hornibrookina edwardsii Perch-Nielsen; Litraphiditas quadratus Bramleue y Martini; Markalius inversus (Deflandre y Fert) BramIette y Martinni; Micrantholithus attenuatus Bramlette y Sullivan; Micrantholuhus Pinguis BramIette y Sullivan; Micrantholithus vesper Deflandre; Micula staurophora (Gardet) BramIette y Martini; Neochiastozygus primitivus Perch-Nielsen; Placozygus sigmoides (BramIette y Sullivan) Romein; Toweius africanus (perch Nielsen); Thoracosphaera operculata BramIette y Martini; Thoracosphaera cf.
