NUEVOS MOLUSCOS DE LA FORMACION SAN JULIAN, PROVINCIA DE SANTA CRUZ
Abstract
Two new species of Bivalvia, Neilo ornata orl.manni and Cucullaea patagonensis and one of Gastropocla, Hipponix costata, are described and illustrated. Austrocallista is defined as a new genus within the Pitarinae based on the species "Macrocallisto" iheringi (Cossmann ) which is also described and illustrated. The material comes from the tertiary beds commonly called "patagoníanas" which outcrop in La Mina beach, Santa Cruz Province.Downloads
