Abstract

Two new species of Bivalvia, Neilo ornata orl.manni and Cucullaea patagonensis and one of Gastropocla, Hipponix costata, are described and illustrated. Austrocallista is defined as a new genus within the Pitarinae based on the species "Macrocallisto" iheringi (Cossmann ) which is also described and illustrated. The material comes from the tertiary beds commonly called "patagoníanas" which outcrop in La Mina beach, Santa Cruz Province.
