Abstract
Pygodus anserinus LAMONT & LINDSTROM (CONODONT) LLANDEILlAN, IN THE PONON FORMATION, MENDOZA PROVINCE,ARGENTINA. - The multielement conodont Pygodus anserinus Lamont & Líndstrom is mentioned here for the first time in South America. On this basis the blue limes ton es of the Ponon Trehue Formation, that crop out in Mendoza Province, are assigned to the Llandeilo series. The two morphotypes of Pygodus anserinus apparatus, pygodiformand haddingodiform are described.Downloads
