Abstract

The rodents Scapteromys labiosus Winge, 1888 and Akodon chacoensis Shamel, 1931 are placed in the genus Bibimys Massoia, 1978, as Bibimys labiosusnov. combo and Bibimu» chacoensis nov. combo Both specíes are compared with Bibimus torresi, type of the genus. Hesperomys simplex Winge, 1888 is included in the genus Pseudoruzomus Hershkovitz, 1959 as Pseudoruzomus simplex nov. combo It is cornpared with specimens of P. wavrini, type of the genus. Hesperomus molitor Winge, 1888 is reubicated in the genus Holochilus as member of the H. magnus group and as Holochilas molitor nov. combo
