NUEVOS ELEMENTOS PALEOFLORISTICOS DE LA TAFOFLORA DE LA FORMACION SPRING HILL, LIMITE JURASICO-CRETACICO SUBSUELO DE ARGENTINA Y CHILE AUSTRAL
Abstract
This paper deals with the description of new plant material of the Springhill Formation found in cores drilled by Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (Santa Cruz Province, Argentina) and the National Petroleum Enterprise (Chile). The following taxa have been described: a male cone associated to Brachyphyllum Feistmantelii, Aracarites chilensis n. sp., Cycadolepis involuta Menéndez, Todites williamsonii (Bg.) Sew. and Cladophlebis sp. Also, enlarged descriptions of Brachyphyllum Feistmantelii (Sew.) Sahni and Ptilophyllum antarcticum (Halle) Sew. are presented following observations with a S.E.M.Downloads
