Abstract

Dans le présent travail, on décrit diverses poissons fossiles de la famille Semionotidae, provenant de la Formation Lagarcito (? Jurassique supérieur) de San Luis, Argentine. Du mérne horizónté nous avons décrit dans une autre publication (Bocchino R., 1973), dépoui- Ilés de la méme famille. La présence de Austrolepidotes cuyanus nov. gen. et nov. sp., et d'autres poissons, semble indiquer l'existence d'un complexe faunistique en diverses étapes évolutives, isolé dans cette Forrnation, Iesquels répresentent en apparence différentes lignées filogénetiques sans relations directes.
