FORAMINIFEROS RECIENTES DE USHUAIA (TIERRRA DEL FUEGO, ARGENTINA)
Abstract
The littoral foraminiferal fauna of Ushuaia and its vicinity was studíed, -described, Iigured and crítícally compared with those of Argentina and Chile. In all 69 .species were found, among them for the present none new to science, although four spedes were referred to the nomenclatura apena, as they need more material for their detailed study, The fauna found is of typical subantarctic type; bíogeographícally itbelongs oto the Argentine province. The most abunclant species are: Buccella frígida, Cassidulina crassa, Cibicides aknerianus, Elphidsum articulatum, E. macellum (f. typica, f. Aculeata y f. lessoníi) y Nonion depressullum.Downloads
