Abstract
Palynological notes of Northern Argentina. Altoanc1ine Provínce. 1. Compositae. The present paper is the first of a series of contributions dealing with the description of polien grains and spores of the plants living in tbe Altoanc1ine Province, with special reference to the flora of Tucumán. These studies are in relation to peat investigation which is now being carried in the Calchaquíes Mountains, at 4.500 m of altitude.
