AbstractThe presence of Monograptus leintwardinensís varo incipiens Wood found in exposures west of Tucunuco in northern San Juan Province is reported. This graptolite associated with the well known brachiopod Australina [achaleneis Clarke indicates a Ludlowian age for the sedimentary sequence.
