Gastrópodos (Bulimulidae) de la Formación Chiquimil (Mioceno) de Villavil, provincia de Catamarca, Argentina
Abstract
Bulimulus aff. apodemetes (d'Orbigny) and B. aff. jujuyensis Holmberg from upper levels of the El Jarillal Member of the Chiquimil Formation (Upper Miocene) from the area of Villavil (Catamarca Provinee) are described. These gastropods are close to extant species and lived in open grasslands probably under more humid conditions than the present climate of this area.Downloads
