Abstract


Among the fossils treated in this paper, four genera and two species (?Carcharhinus sp., Myliobatis sp., Pogonias sp., Leptodactylus sp., Carcbarias d. taurus, and Eutatus d. seguini) are mentioned for the first time in Uruguay. Two genera and four species (Carcbarodon sp.,?, Toxodontherium sp., Propraopus sulcatus, Pampatberium bumboldti, Xotodon d. smaltatus, and ?Propachyrucos scbiaiiinoi) represent lit de known taxa from this country.
